Communication

  • While our HQ is located in Maple Valley, Washington we operate as a virtual office and serve clients coast to coast in the US! Even our team is spread across the country.

  • Due to the flexible nature of virtual bookkeeping work, and that our team members work within different time zones, work hours vary. However, we operate Monday - Thursday between 9-4pm PST, to address emails, phone calls, and hold client meetings.

    If you are a client of ours and it is something that needs attention sooner than our Financial Debrief meeting, please email us at Support@thebookkeeperedit.com. Otherwise, we encourage you to compile all items for our Financial Debrief and we will make sure to address all that you need.

  • You can expect a response within 24-48 hours. We pride ourselves in our communication, we will always respond to let you know we received your email and will address it soon.

Financial

  • Yes. We exclusively work with QuickBooks Online. If you have a current subscription, great! If you do not currently have a subscription, we will assist you with getting started or migrating over. We highly recommend the Essentials or Plus plan.

  • We provide financial reports monthly. However, our Financial Debrief occurs either quarterly or monthly. Check out our packages HERE for more information. 

  • We meet via Zoom, quarterly or monthly, to review your financials. We discuss trends, potential improvements, decisions you are contemplating, etc. These meetings are incredibly valuable to your business growth! Check out our packages HERE for more information. 

  • Our team will need access to your business bank and credit card accounts in order to efficiently complete your financials. Many banks allow for accountant (read-only) access to online bank accounts. This helps us keep our work efficient and effective. 

  • All client passwords are kept safe through LastPass and all client documents are kept safe with password-protected folders. 

Qualifications

  • Many of our team members have an accounting degree or are certified Bookkeepers through Bookkeeper Launch. You can rest assured that you are working with the highest quality professionals. We also pride ourselves on our continuing education and network of other professionals. If there is ever a question we have not seen before, we have many resources available to us. 

Logistics

  • We do require 60 days notice should you ever need to cancel services. We value our client relationships but do realize needs or circumstances can change. We will properly off-board you and your account so you are well prepared for your next chapter. 

  • We process payments via ACH or credit card on the 5th of each month for the current period closing. Noting that businesses with quarterly services are charged at the beginning of each quarter: January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.
